She was predeceased by: her husband Billy; her son Billy "Pwetzel" Parsons; her daughter-in-law Glennda; her granddaughter Asia Lashea Parsons; her parents, Frank Brummitt and Evelyn Brummitt; and her siblings, Nennie, Merge, Shirley and Darrell.

She is survived by: her children, Chuck Parsons (Jane) of Pennington Gap, VA, Jeff Parsons of Fredericksburg, VA, Joe Parsons of Pennington Gap, VA, Pat Parsons of Pennington Gap, VA, Hunter Stewart of Pennington Gap, VA, Misty Parsons of Pennington Gap, VA, Nikki Parsons of Pennington Gap, VA and Jessica Parsons of Dryden, VA; her siblings, Jimmy and Janie; and her close friends, Woody, Cathy Woods, Shirley Taylor, Bob Shuler and Betty Bowen. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
