He is survived by: his wife Floretta "Flo" Jones Green; his brother Darrell Green of Monroe, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Jessica Parsons of Dryden, VA, Thomsena Scott of Dryden, VA, Nathan, Linda Jones of Appalachia, VA, Timothy and Tammy Jones of Rogersville, TN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lee Memorial Gardens (1986 Hickory Cir Rd, Pennington Gap, VA 24277).
