He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Gillenwater and Devoda Gillenwater; and his brother James Gillenwater. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Wade Gillenwater; his children, Wesley David of Stickleyville, VA., Gregory Todd of Stickleyville, VA. and Amanda Gillenwater of Stickleyville, VA.; his granddaughters, Alexis and Kyndall Gillenwater; and his sister Jeanette Bane of Arkansas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
