It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martina Daugherty of Pennington Gap, Virginia, born in Dizney, Kentucky, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband B. J. Daugherty; her parents, Howard "Trap" Elliott, Sr. and Elsie Jones Elliott; and her siblings, Oren Elliott Jr., Normas Ferguson (Pete) and Wallace Elliott (Malinda).
She is survived by: her daughters, Jan Copeland (Jeff) and Connie Combs (Johnny); and her grandchildren, Cara Copeland Childs (Scotty), Jordan Bascom-Elliott Daugherty and Craig Daugherty Copeland (Callie).
