It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Parsons (Pennington Gap, Virginia), who passed away on September 24, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Varble and Elsie Varble; her sisters, Lorene Cochran and JoAnn Galloway; and her granddaughter Mandy Parsons Jessee.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Parsons; her children, Donnie Parsons of St. Charles, VA, Judy Shirks (Roger) of St. Charles, VA, Jackie Parsons of Sticklyville, VA, Wayne Parsons (Melissa) of Jonesville, VA, Tyke Parsons (Vicki) of Jonesville, VA and Gloria Longsworth of St. Charles, VA; her siblings, Wilma McKinney of St. Charles, VA, Patricia Scott (Elijah) of St. Charles, VA and Floyd Varble (Fern) of St. Charles; and her grandchildren, Leslie Miles (Eric), Shawn Shirks (Karen), Kevin Shirks, Eric Shirks (Brittany), Jennifer Parsons Stapleton, Tiffany Slusher (Bobby), Kimberly Hounshell (Jordan), Ashley Mullins (Jimmy), Julie Ely (Mark) and Brandon Longsworth. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
