She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Stapleton; her parents, Vernon Reece and Faye Reece; her sisters, Justine Edwards and Inez Smith; and her granddaughter Amy Carter.

She is survived by: her children, William Stapleton (Karen), Lisa Carter (Ron) and Jeffery Stapleton (Elaine); her grandchildren, Bethany Bonovitch, Kayla Stapleton, Jonathan Carter, Tiffany Wrenn and Tori Crompton; her great grandchildren, Emersyn Bonovitch, Ivan Stapleton, Gavin Bonovitch, Ivona Stapleton and Moriah Wrenn; her niece Phyllis Young; and her nephew Gene Smith. She is also survived by her family and friends.
