Lela Wardell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2018, at the age of 78, Lela Wardell (Pennington Gap, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, McKinley Stapleton and Ada Stapleton; and her brothers, Walter Stapleton, Clyde Stapleton and Paul Stapleton.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Wardell; her children, Scott Wardell and Robin Napier (Scott); her grandchildren, Scotty Wardell (Angel), Dylan Wardell (Makayla), Brandon Napier and Schyler Napier; and her siblings, Pete Stapleton, Goldie Greene, Mossie Idica, Vergie Nelson, Ruby Minton and Anna Lou Stapleton.
Her wishes were to be cremated , Lieu of flowers the family as that donations be made to the Southwest Virginia Cancer Center in Norton, VA in her memory.
