With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Carter of Pennington Gap, Virginia, who passed away on July 1, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carter and Minnie Carter; and his siblings, Jack Coffman, Ray Coffman, Gene Carter, JoAnn Carter Doss and Gay Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Dora Carter; his children, Michael Shannon (Betty Jo) of Jonesville, VA and Leshia Carter of Pennington Gap, VA; and his grandsons, Austin Hornby and Jacob Calhoun. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews family and friends.
