With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Thompson of Pennington Gap, Virginia, who passed away on February 8, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ireland Thompson; her parents, George Reed and Annie Reed; her children, Rena Clark, Rony Clark, Randall Clark and Richard Clark; and her siblings, Gracie Mills, Bertha Reed, Sadie Webb, Sally Jude, Homer Reed, Wayne Runyons, Bluford Reed, Clifford Reed, Oscar Reed and George Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Whitaker (Bige) of Pennington Gap, VA, Danny Clark of Ocala, FL and Bruce Thompson (Heather) of Pikeville, KY.; and her sister Geneva Adams of Ohio. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
Due to covid-19 state regulations, those attending the visitation and funeral are asked to wear masks/facial covering. Social distancing guidelines will also be in place.
