He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shuler and Glessie Shuler; his siblings, Donnie Ray, Everette Monroe, Carl Delano Shuler, Nell Pennington and Peggy Shuler; and his niece Donnie Jean Catron.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Shuler (Tara) of Keokee, VA and Amanda Shuler; his siblings, Layne Pennington of Jonesville, VA., Kevin Pennington (Regina), Shayne Pennington (Judy) of Lithia, FL., Tracy Bailey (Aggie) of Keokee, VA, Joy Tant (Bill) of Knightdale, NC and Lynn Scott (Carson); and his close friends, Larry Estep and Randy Caudill. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; five nieces and four nephews.
