He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhea Bledsoe and Kate Bledsoe; and his siblings, Larry Bledsoe, Murel Bledsoe, Johnnie Bledsoe, Arnold Bledsoe, Betty Lou McElroy and Shirley Gilliam.
He is survived by: his wife Louella Bledsoe (Parsons); his siblings-in-law, Lena Bledsoe, Jean Bledsoe and Eugene McElroy; and his nieces and nephews, Eleshia Marion, Ella Marion, Ashleigh Marion, Kevin McElroy and Benjamin McElroy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donation be made to the Stickleyville Fire Department.
