It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Smyth (Pennington Gap, Virginia), who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doc Clawson and Zella Lockhart Clawson; her husband Roy Smyth; and her brothers, Vance, Bob, Adrian, Alonzo, Norman, Coy and Leslie Clawson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Anna Mae Allen and Ruby Doss; her daughters, Vicky Hall (Jimmy) and Connie Burchett (Bobby); and her grandchildren, Holly Hall Russell (Derek), Kelly Hall Eviston (Richie) and Robby Burchett of Jonesville, VA..
