With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janette Griffith (Pennington Gap, Virginia), born in Jenkins, Kentucky, who passed away on December 15, 2019 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Rowlett and Zelma McGoldrick; and her sister Gaynelle Rowlett. She is survived by: her husband Jessee Griffith; her siblings, Glen Rowlett of Bulls Gap, TN, Jimmy Rowlett (Eugene) of Bristol, TN and Joyce Yannayon of Palm Bay, FL; her children, Timothy "Scottie" Griffith (Denise) of Cedar Bluff, VA, Cynthia "Cindy" Finehout (Ronald "Ron") of Pennington Gap, VA and Stacy Kirk (Brain "Chubby") of Stickleyville, VA; her grandchildren, Tiffany Owens (Jason) of Abington, VA, Ashley Arnold (Jon) of Knoxville, TN, Jonathan Griffith (Brittany) of Cedar Bluff, VA, Lynsey Collins (Billy) of Dryden, VA, Ronald, Aleigha Church of Pennington Gap, VA, Austin Kirk of Stickleyville, VA and Stephanie Finehout of Detroit, MI; and her great grandchildren, Braylee Griffith, Hailie Griffith, Billy Collins III, Nolen Griffith, Kason Owens, Zander Owens and Serenity Finehout. She is also survived by her children, along with her grandchildren and even her great grandchildren.
