We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Jackie Carter of Pennington Gap, Virginia. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lura Carter and Richard Carter; and his siblings, Nolan Carter, Donnie Carter, Burley Carter, Latrina Lay and Billie Ward.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Carter; his sons, Jamie Carter of Pennington Gap, VA and Brady Carter (Nicki) of Abingdon, VA; his grandchildren, Jasmine Blake (Scott) of Gray, TN, Jeremy Carter (Kayla) of Elizabethton, TN and Natalie Carter of Abingdon, VA; his great grandchild Cash Blake; and his siblings, Ronnie Carter (Connie), Wilma Jo Kuntzman (Bob) of Russellville, TN and Sammie Daniels (Tilmon) of Morristown, TN. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Due to covid-19 state regulations, those attending the visitation and funeral are asked to wear masks/facial covering. Social distancing guidelines will also be in place.
