She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Parsons and Flora Shufflebarger Parsons; her husband Herbert Eugene Moore; her sons-in-law, R. Larry Lewis and Kenneth Foxx; and her siblings, Nell Slagle, Jean Slagle, Loran Parsons and Thelma Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Moore (Sandra) of New Tazewell, TN, Janice Foxx (Wayne Francis) of Maynardville, TN, Linda Lewis of Pittsboro, NC and Jerry Moore (Melody) of Elizabethton, TN. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mullins-Sturgill Funeral Home (298 Harrell St, Pennington Gap, VA 24277). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the Powell Valley Cemetery.
