He was predeceased by: his wife Non Baumgardner; his son John Baumgardner; his parents, Lewis Baumgardner and Lillie Baumgardner; his siblings, Eugene Baumgardner and Sally Baumgardner; and his grandparents, Hicks Young, Cassie Miser, George and Bessie Baumgardner.
He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Clark (Terry); his grandson River Clark of Pennington Gap; his siblings, Robert, Donnie, Michael Baumgardner of Jonesville, Virginia, Terry Baumgardner of Pennington Gap, Virginia, Charles Baumgardner (Cindy) of Norton, Virginia., Mary Williams (Lohn) of Pflugerville, Texas, Charlotte Kirk (Mike) of Asheboro and Lynn Bellamy (Craig) of Jonesville, Virginia; and his aunt Margaret Hughes of Pennington Gap. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to covid-19 state regulations, those attending the visitation and funeral are asked to wear masks/facial covering. Social distancing guidelines will also be in place.
