He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannie Daugherty; his son Tony Daugherty; his parents, Roy Daugherty and Agnes Daugherty; and his brothers, Bill Daugherty and Wayne Daugherty.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Dean (Randall) of Dryden, VA and Shelia Broadhuhn of Pennington Gap, VA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
