It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Kirk of Pennington Gap, Virginia, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kirk and Veda Belcher Kirk. He is survived by: his sister Sherry Kirk Hart (Larry) of Hiram, GA; his granddaughter Tararenee Fisher; his stepdaughter Darlene Rieder; his nephews, Jonathan Hart (Tara) of Dallas, GA, Richard Hart (Trina) of Hiram, GA, Kevin Hart (Mandy Hart) of Lineville, AL and Ryan Hart (Erin) of Lineville; his aunts and uncles, Eulalah Copeland Flanary, Donna Mullins Kirk, Clark (Betty Kirk) and Clayel (Mary Ann Kirk); and his nephews, Jeff Copeland and Bruce Copeland. He is also survived by many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mullins - Sturgill Funeral Home (298 Harrell St, Pennington Gap, VA 24277). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
