With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freda Quillen Thomas (Pennington Gap, Virginia), born in Dryden, Virginia, who passed away on January 31, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Quillen and Pearl Bryant Quillen; and her husband William Thomas. She is survived by: her sons, William W. Thomas, Jr. (Barbara) of Rhoadesville, VA and Wayne K. Thomas (Pat); her grandchildren, Michelle Speyer (Art), Erin Kmiecinski (Joe), Patrick Thomas (Geneva) and Elizabeth Perkins (Dylan); and her sister-in-law Shelia Quillen of Kingsport, TN. She is also survived by several extended family, friends, and neighbors.
