He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Garrett; his children, Frankie Garrett and Rebbacca Garrett (Becky); his parents, Mary J. Garrett and Bill Garrett; and his brothers, Elmer Garrett, Robert Garrett, Authur Garrett and Sam Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, Andrew Garrett and Jennifer Smith (Shane); his grandchildren, Maggie Smith, Jacob Smith, Gabriel Smith and Isabella Smith; and his brothers, Jack Garrett of Pennington Gap, VA. and Walter Garrett of Pennington Gap, VA..
