He was predeceased by: his sons, Floyd "Buddy" Varble and Ronald Varble; his parents, Elsie Varble and Lester Varble; and his sisters, Lorene Cochran, Joann Galloway and Loretta Parsons.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Varble; his daughters, Kathy Phillips (Roger) of Pennington Gap, VA and Tracy Tritt (JR) of St. Charles, VA; his granddaughter Kelsey Phillips (Devon Hobbs); his great grandchild Kali Hobbs of Pennington Gap, VA.; and his sisters, Wilma McKinney of St. Charles, VA and Patricia Scott (Elijah) of St. Charles, VA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
