He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce C. Harber; his parents, Charles Harber and Carrie Harber; and his siblings, Olaf Harber, Ruby Bailey and Wilma Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Harber (Jan) of Dryden, VA and Alan Harber (Judy) of Knoxville, TN.; and his grandchildren, Adam Harber, Jennifer Guthmann (Caleb), Lauren Eastridge (Sam) and Karen Winterbottom (Simon).
Viewing was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (298 Harrell St, Pennington Gap, VA 24277). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lee Memorial Gardens (1986 Hickory Cir Rd, Pennington Gap, VA 24277).
