She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Ward; her parents, Nannie Young and Isaac Earl Smith; her stepmother Bonnie Smith; her sister Anna Lee Rasnic; and her half-siblings, Katherine Mullins and Tom Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Linder (Don) of Carrolton, OH, Simone Edwards of Stickleyville, VA, Jerry Ward (Vicki) of Stickleyville, VA, Robby Ward (Becky) of Kingsport, TN and Millard Ray Hall of Jonesville, VA.; her half-sisters, Lillian Combs and Emma Lou Fisher; her husband Ronald of Florida; her stepsister Diane Everton of Greenwood, IN; her half-brother Donald L. Smith (Donna) of Knightstown, IN; and also, Alice Shinnick (William) of Anderson, SC and Susie Newsome of Oklahoma. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
