He is survived by: his daughter Chasitee Middleton (Joey); his stepdaughter Shawnte Hale (Justin); his mother Dorothy Satterfield; his grandchildren, Makenlea Middleton, Brantley Carroll, Huxlee Middleton, Justin Hale and Akelea Hale; and his siblings, Gennett Garrett (Scott), Missy Kelly (Jim) and E. J. Satterfield (Angie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
