It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Coretta Stapleton of Pennington Gap, Virginia, who passed away on November 2, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Cam D Stapleton; her parents, Luther Hughes and Estell Hughes; her sons, Dexter Stapleton, Kenneth Stapleton and Wayne Stapleton; and her sister Bernita Garrett.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Garrett (Gary) of Greenback, TN., Freddie, Jerry Stapleton of Pennington Gap and David Stapleton (Deb) of Abington Va; and her sister Hilda Moore Nickelsville Ky. She is also survived by her many grandkids and great grandkids.
Due to covid-19 state regulations, those attending the visitation and funeral are asked to wear masks/facial covering. Social distancing guidelines will also be in place.
