It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilsene Hensley Scott of Penn Laird, Virginia, born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson O. Hensley and Duane Higgs Hensley; her husband John Thomas Scott; her son Christopher P. Scott; her brother Jeddie Hensley; and her pet Bucky.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Scott (Judy) of Christiansburg and Joan Scott of Versailles; her siblings, Cynthia Ludholtz (William) of Keezletown and Jack Hensley (Peggy) of Shenandoah; her grandchildren, Tom Scott, Jessica Lewellen (Bob), Justin Scott and Jacob Scott; her great grandchildren, Madison Jackameit and Leighann Lewellen; her grandchild Chris; and also Diana Workman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
