She was predeceased by: her parent Oliver Dewey; her husband Johnny Calvin Hoover; her son Roger Lee Hoover; her son-in-law Franky Campbell; and her siblings, Stella Halterman, Ila Propst and Jack Armentrout.
She is survived by: her parent Lizzie Alice Armentrout; her daughters, Barbara Campbell of Elkton and Connie Liskey (Donnie) of Harrisonburg; her daughter-in-law Jeanie Hoover of Penn Laird; her grandchildren, Cindy Bush (Mike) and Roger Hoover II; her wife Jill; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Stella, Ginger, Kailyn, Nikki, Peyson, Chelsea, Leyna, Colton and Lexie; her sister Lois Gainer (Richard) of Florida; and also, David Liskey (Greta), Briteny Boyd (Sean), Thomas Liskey (Regina) and Megan Lambert (Lewis).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the McGaheysville Fire Department.
