He was predeceased by: his father John Scott. He is survived by: his mother Mary Wilsene Hensley Scott of Penn Laird; his close friend Diana Workman; his son Tom Scott of Elkton; and his siblings, Steve Scott (Judy) of Christiansburg and Joan Scott of Kentucky.
