With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Arbry Davis of Penn Laird, Virginia, born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on August 20, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Davis and Elizabeth Anna Lee Davis (Tumer); and his sister Elizabeth Shifflett. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Sherman (Jeremy) of Broadway, Karyn Collins (Rodney) of Timberville and Brittany Crawford (Matthew) of Phoenix, AZ; the mother of his children Regina Baber; his significant other Lou Ann Whetzel; his partner's children, Kerri Booth (Nathan) and Phillip Moyers (Rheanna Burnett); his grandchildren, Michael Sherman, Austin Collins (Emily Beahm), Brandon Sherman, Hayden Sherman, Sydney Collins, Wyatt Sherman, Makenzie Crawford and Kelly Booth; his great grandchildren, Camden Sherman and Lincoln Sherman; his friend Fred Rhodes (Marie); and his sister Mary Dull. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
