He was predeceased by: his parents, Page Laprade and Lillie Laprade; his daughter Karen Laprade; and his siblings, Page Lewis Laprade and Sammie Edith Laprade.
He is survived by: his wife Jewell Oakes Laprade; his children, Teresa Bernard (Sammy) and William H. Laprade, Jr. (Marlene); his grandsons, Seth Bernard and Josh Hale (Tracy); his great grandchildren, Mason and Maclin Hale; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Oakes and Eugene Oakes.
