He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Hewes (Pierce) and Gerald Francis Hewes; and his sister Nancy M. Hewes. He is survived by: his daughters, Meg H. Walker (Scottie) of Penhook and Kelly H. Corbin (Derek) of Bradenton, Florida.; his stepgrandson Blake Corbin; his brother Mark K. Hewes of Lyme, NH; his nephew Karlton K. Kingsbury, Jr. of Wentworth, NH; his niece Stacy A. Hewes of Lyme, NH; his former wife Janet L. Hewes of Hartland, Vt.; and his close friend Francis Stanley. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
