He was predeceased by: his significant other Belinda Blankenship Walker; his parents, William Walker and Elizabeth Martin Walker; and his siblings, Landis, Haynel, James, Larry, Danny Reid, Hazel Turner, Josephine Shorter, Lutie Walker and Kittie Hubbard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Serina L. Walker, Misty Walker Mollin (Erik) and Jessica Walker Scalf; his grandchildren, Hannah B. Mollin, Ryan W. Mollin, Ava G. Scalf and Brayden P. Scalf; his pet Millie; his sister Pat Marlowe; his mother-in-law May Byrd Blankenship; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Walker and Carolyn Walker. He is also survived by the youngest of 11 children, having five brothers and five sisters.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Flora Funeral Service (665 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151).
