It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Keith Adkins of Penhook, Virginia, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James "Shorty" Adkins; his mother-in-law Nancy Naff; and his nephew Zack Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Jeremy (Kristie) and Mallory Fralin (Scottie); his grandchildren, Rylan, Kylie Adkins, Parker, Tipton, Clayton and Winston Fralin; his mother Shelby Adkins; his siblings, Stewart (Debra), Rhonda Robertson (Danny) and Trenda Pasley (Tim "Peanut"); and his brother-in-law John Clifford Simms. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, he requested all donations be made to the Kidz Shine Bible Club at Boones Chapel Church so that all children have the opportunity to learn about Jesus. (Donations can be mailed to Boones Chapel Church, 16405 Snow Creek Road, Penhook, VA 24137).
