She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Florentine Sudduth and Adelaide Rebecca Thompson Sudduth; her husband Floyd M. Lawrence, Sr.; her son Richard Lawrence; her siblings, Alberta Zimmich and Albert Sudduth; and her granddaughter Jeri Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Floyd M. Lawrence, Jr. (Elizabeth), James "Jimmy" Lawrence (Mitzi), John H. Lawrence (Michelle) and Sarah Fortney (Charles); her grandchildren, Julia Hollandsworth (Samuel), John Fortney (Joan), Cherri Edwards (Jesse), Allan Lawrence, Justin Lawence (Patti), Chrissy Combs (Josh) and Hyla Morris; her great grandchildren, Ashley (Eddie), Christina, Alaric, Aidric, Zachary (Cassidy), Jessie Lynn and Wyatt; and her great great grandchildren, Olivia, Gavin and Caroline.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Nayar Hospice, 300 Ashcake Road, Ashland, VA 23005.
