Adkins Powell; her husband David Cook; her children, Lenora Witcher (Jerry) of Penhook, Anita Witcher of Penhook, Sylvia "Vickie" Price of Fayetteville, Gwen Wiley (Melvin) of Detroit, Sha Simmons (Duke) of Newport News, Willis Brooks of Rocky Mount, Don Cook (Vicky) of Penhook and David Cook of Penhook; her sisters, Rebecca Witcher of Rocky Mount and Alice Reeves of Salem; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Preston (Eugene) of Boones Mill and Frances Cook of Ft. She is also survived by grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren.
