We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2021, at the age of 91, Dorothy Josephine Moore of Penhook, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Warren and Fannie Price Warren; and her husband Avery C. Moore. She is survived by: her children, Calvin Moore (Esther) of Reisterstown, MD, Leonard Moore (Mary) of Rocky Mount, VA, Larry Moore (Glena) of Rocky Mount, VA, Nelson Moore (Cecile) of Penhook, VA, Ronnie Moore (Cynthia) of Penhook, VA and Beverly Smith (John) of Penhook, VA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Greater Mt. Parrish Missionary Baptist Church, 2553 Calvary Road, Penhook, VA 24137.
