He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Gibson; his children, Montie Jefferson of Chatham and Donna Hylton (Kevin Chappelle) of Danville; the mothers of children, Vickie Furrow of Museville and Mary; and also Rebecca White (Erik) of Charlottesville. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
