It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Keatts of Penhook, Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charlie Keatts to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Thomas Keatts and Jenny Oakes Keatts; his siblings, Burton Oakes, Edmund Keatts, Ola Matthews and Ella Kendrick; and his grandchildren, Blair Motley III and Lisa Forbes.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Cobler Keatts; his children, Dennis Keatts (Sheila), Joyce Ingram (Edward), Teresa Merricks (Lynwood) and Michelle Pace (Tim); his grandchildren, Karen McRoy, Jessica Hunt, Brandon Keatts, Nicholas Keatts, Carrie Bouldin, Zane Forbes and Zoie Pace; his siblings, Andrew Oakes, Nera Bernard, Lucy Kirk (Ben), Mildred Gunter and Shirley Kirk; his brothers-in-law, Gem Kendrick and Kenny Cobler; and his nephew Brent Craig. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, there will be no visitation and anyone attending services are asked to please wear a mask.
