It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Riggs of Pembroke, Virginia, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Andrew and Virginia Elizabeth Kelly Stump; her husband Arthur William Riggs "Bill"; her children, William Gerald Riggs and Lori Anne Riggs Stafford; and her siblings, Mildred Stump Long and James W. Stump (Jimmy).
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Riggs (Anita) of Pearisburg, Gregory Riggs of Pembroke, Brenda Hall (David) of Salem, Rebecca Johnston (Jay) of Pembroke, Drema Davis of Pembroke and Connie Smith of Christiansburg; her son-in-law Brian Stafford of Bear Springs; and her siblings, Walter "Bubber" Stump, Darrell Stump (Sheila), Freddie Stump (Gloria), Gary Stump and Sandie Stump Parker (Eric). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
