He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Lawson; and his mother Hazel Lawson. He is survived by: his son Robert Lawson Jr. (Sharon); his grandson Hunter Lawson; and his siblings, John C. Lawson (Freda), Peggy Lawson, Janet Craighead and Lynn Scaggs (Glenn). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
