He is survived by: his wife Juliet Katherine Rice of Pembroke, Virginia; his mother Carolyn Nadine Rice of Conway; his stepdaughters, Melissa McCleery (Stephen Pianovich) of Philadelphia and Erin McCleery (Josiah Latham) of Charlotte; his stepgrandchildren, Atlas Latham and Apollo Latham; his father-in-law James Kennedy George Jr. of Austin, Texas; his siblings-in-law, Chris George (Julie Haddon) of Portland, Jimmy George of Austin, Texas. and Nelljean McConeghey (Clay) of Arlington, Virginia.; his niece Carolyn Emily Louise Carney of Rockville, Maryland; his nephew Jesse Kenneth Roberts Rice of Atlanta, Georgia; and his cousin Gail Brown (Charlie) of Opelika, Alabama..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kendall Funeral Home (605 Snidow St, Pembroke, VA 24136). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
