He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Canode Atkins; his son Jeff Atkins; his sister Judy Franklin (Barry); his pet Molly; his nephew Aaron Martin (Lauren); his niece Sarah Slack (David); and his friends, Rodney Jamison, Charlie, Diane Hunt and Mike "Hammer" Williams.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kendall Funeral Home (605 Snidow St, Pembroke, VA 24136). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
