She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Carter and Pansy Carter of Goldbond, VA.; her son-in-law Stanley Cumbee; her brothers, Walter Carter (Sonny), Weldon Carter (Johnny) and Donald Carter (Bob); and her husband Grady Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny R. Williams of Christiansburg, Deborah Cumbee and Kathy (Benny Williams); her siblings, William H. Carter of Hereford, Pennsylvania, Theida and Garnett Darnell; and her grandchildren, Tess Williams, Brian Cumbee, Justin Williams, Ryan Williams and Cody Bowers. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
