He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gillispie and Rita Young Gillispie; his wife Joyce Ann Janney Gillispie; and his siblings, Phyllis Cumbee and Curtis Gillispie.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Gillispie (Dayla) of New Jersey and Steve Gillipsie (Rhonda) of Pembroke; and his grandchildren, Christopher Gillispie, Abigale Pepper and Zane Huskey.
