He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Surber Rust; his brother Thomas Garry Rust; his children, Katrennia Rust of Pembroke and Travis Eugene Rust of Richlands; his grandchildren, Kharma Rust, Abigail Rust, Kane Rust, Adreanna Ratcliffe, Kasse Dody and Cayden Arnold; his niece Lora Christine Rust; and his nephew Christopher Garry Rust.
