He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Dalton and Bertie St. Clair Dalton; and his siblings, Eddie Dalton, Jackie Dalton and Frances "Sissy" Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Troy Fisher of Pearisburg, William "DJ" Dalton Jr. of Kentucky and Tammy Franey (Michael) of Culpeper; his brothers, Leroy Dalton of Pembroke and Kenny Dalton of Pearisburg; and his grandchildren, Cassidy Fisher, Troy Fisher, Jr. and Elijah Hoskin.
