He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilford Woodrow and Elsie Mae Brown Townsend; his sister Roberta Jean; and his brother-in-law Jackie Terry. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Kelley Townsend; his son Chris; his daughter-in-law Sherry Townsend; his daughter Kellie Townsend; his grandchildren, Jacob Lee Townsend, Emilee Rose Townsend, Ellis Kent Shanholtz and Kendra Grace Shanholtz; his brother Neil Townsend; his niece Julie Green; and his nephews, Stephen Terry and David Terry. He is also survived by pet companions, "Honee," the dog and "Naughty," the cat; and numerous cousins, neighbors and friends.
