She was predeceased by: her mother Pauline Dalton Riggs; her sister Wanda Riggs; and her sister-in-law Pearl Riggs. She is survived by: her husband David Hetherington; her children, Sherry Lafon (Michael) of Pearisburg and Scott Hetherington (Andrea) of Pearisburg; her grandchildren, Sienna Lafon, Ashton Hetherington and Alyssa Hetherington; and her siblings, Earl Riggs (Deronda), Boyd Riggs of Staffordsville, Harold Riggs of Staffordsville, VA and Norma Younce of Dublin, VA..
