She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Lidrew Lester, Jr. and Anna LaVerne Surratt Lester. She is survived by: her husband Michael Edward Lawson of Salem; her siblings, Alesia L. Collins (Larry) of Narrows, Regena L. Soon (Andy) of Charlotte, NC, Blake Lester (Joy) of Pearisburg and Cliff Lester (Karen); and her nieces and nephews, Ryan, Aaron Collins, Christopher Quesenberry, Kekona, Elijah, Nathan, Micah Soon, Benjamin Wilson, Wayne Sutphin, Courtney, Hannah, Hazel Lester, Nalani Soon, ReAnn Wilson, Laura and Sarah Slusher.
