She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dewey and Betty Jane Sadler Parcell. She is survived by: her daughter Tennie Dicken; her grandchildren, Michael Painter, Christina Burgess, Savannah South, Billie Joe Dicken and John Dicken; her great grandchildren, Braxton Burgess and Brenton Burgess; her sisters, Sue (Phillip Brookman) and Martha (Danny Reynolds); and her nephews, Tracy Riddle and Bryan Riddle.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shady Grove Church (392 Walkers Creek Valley Rd, Pearisburg, VA 24134).
